Stronghold HD

The best stronghold game I think and they made it with higher resolutions,, and plus it doesn't scroll stupidly fast with today's pc's. If you guys have already have the first stronghold, you can patch it to the HD version.

loved this game, played more in the free build part having bears/wolves vs humans wars rather than play the campaign

Quite a coincidence that only a few weeks ago I dug out and installed my old copy of this, only to give up quickly as the resolution was just far too low for my liking. Very pleased about this.

It was the scroll speed for me as it scrolled far too fast on my pc,, but now with the HD patch it runs perfect and looks cool in 1920x1200 :cool:

They've released stronghold crusader hd alongside this.. just over 4 usd for sh hd, under 8 for sh crusader... thats well under a tenner for those of us in the UK

Although if you already own them *I think* you might be able to get the HD patch for free (legally), if you have the time it may be worth reading into it (if you are that skint)
