Hey guys,

I've posted a post not too long ago and thought I came to a conclusion but to be honest I'm back to square one, I have so many cases on my mind and tbh I can't choose.

I'm looking for a case with good airflow with dust filters and most of all the best for money. My price maximum is £150.
I wont be watercooling and im a PC Gamer.

Here are the cases which Ive been interested in so far:

Aerocool X-Predator
Corsair Obsidian 650D
Corsair 600T (colour im not fussed, I like both)
CM Storm Trooper
CM-690 II lite windowed
CM HAF 922
Fractal Design R3 XL
Akasa Venom Toxic
Silverstone Raven R3

If anyone can make any other suggestions or opinions I'm very keen to hear them.

Thank you
Stefan

Stinger, i forgot to mention the Corsair 600T, tbf it looks amazing and really a nice case! I was also thinking about the ANTEC P193, but it didnt just do it for me. I hate making decisions.

As I also have the Corsair SP2500 Speakers, think a corsair case would be a very nice match too

yh i have cosair speakers to but i think i have the ps2200 ones the 2500 where to expensive for me lol. it is a great case. but u have to go with one u like the most as its u that'll have to look at it

Ive also found another case, and tbf it has a lot of reviews and it looks quite nice to and its the:

NZXT Phantom Enthusiast

Trying to choose a case is getting worse now haha.

I own both the 600T and Phantom Full Tower, don't get the Phantom 410 there not that great. The 600T and Phantom are both amazing cases, the phantom has better airflow and more fan slots, it is also better for water cooling and is quieter, yet the 600T is slightly better built and "nicer" looking.

Edit, The Phantom also has a better fan controller and nicer cable management due the the way the side panel works on the 600T.

I just got my Corsair 600t white today So ill say this one :) Its the bees knees
I was dubious about getting it in white, but im so glad i did, and agree with what stinger53 said

the cable management on 600T is great. can get everything rly tidy. and rly good air flow. keeps my cpu rly cool. 25 degrees idle and havnt seen it go above 55 even after playing a few hours of BF3

I didn't say it wasn't, I said the Phantoms is better.

EDIT: Here is a picture of my 600T

The RV03 is the best case for airflow on paper.
The HAF may compete, but I think it's the HAF X that is really the top dog for airflow in the HAF range.

Don't listen to anyone telling you about looks of cases, because case looks are subjective, if you like it, you like it.

Out of your list:
Aerocool X-Predator - No. Better cases on the list.
Corsair Obsidian 650D - Mediocre case, a good compromise, but really the watercooling targeted version of the 600T.
Corsair 600T (colour im not fussed, I like both) - It's not bad for airflow, but compared to some of the others it's not great either. It's looks are arguably slightly more preferred by some people, and I wouldn't let that put you off.
CM Storm Trooper - Probably the second best of your choices. It's a very nice case, with some good airflow. It has some absolutely stunning features, and for value is hard to beat.
CM-690 II lite windowed - It's ok, not fantastic, I'd say the 690 II is slightly dated now a days and there's some newer stuff out that's better.
CM HAF 922 - Not bad. But if you're going to go for a HAF, I feel either get the Storm Trooper or go the full hog and get a HAF X.
Fractal Design R3 XL - Not sure which you mean, but presume you mean the XL case. Airflow really isn't great in these compared to some of the others, but you do get a nice bonus of some quietness.
Akasa Venom Toxic - Again, just no.
Silverstone Raven R3 - The best case on the list. Air flow is absolutely the best. The only niggle would be if you had some massive hard drive requirement for the case...

Personally, if you want a gaming case, get the Storm Trooper or the RV03. If you really love the 600t get that, but otherwise yeah. Storm Trooper or RV03.

RV03 if you really are indifferent between the two, but they are quite different in looks, so see which you prefer between those two I'd say.

WOW. Thank you everyone, least I can take some cases of the list. I decided I wont go for the HAF, as I don't like the look of it.

I do like the raven as its different.

@ KD: What is your opinion on the NZXT Phantom Enthusiast Full Tower Case?

I feel that if you're going to buy the Phantom and your budget is £150 you might as well buy the Switch 810.

They're both made by NZXT, so have the same build quality as each other, they look relatively similar, and the Switch 810 really is the newer more advanced, and generally better all round version of the Phantom.

It has some pretty neat features as well in it. The roof, and the GPU fans come to mind, but whilst it's a pretty good case for airflow, it's a good case for watercooling as well.

The only reason somebody should buy the Phantom over the Switch 810 is if they can't afford the Switch... Especially as yeah, as I said, they follow the same kind of styling.
