Struggling to find CPU cooler that will fit with high profile memory on my M/B?

how about an all in one water cooling solution?

as for high profile ram, honestly unless you're benchmarking and using some ridiculous ram it wont matter, ie 99% of people will be more than happy with regular ram

Scythe Ashura should fit, as the cooler is offset to allow high profile ram.

Google for some reviews / pics showing this.

Only thing to check is because it's 145mm wide, you might run into problems with the first pci-e x1 slot if your motherboard has one ( normally above the first pci-e slot ).

I had the same ram.

My old Thermalright Silver Arrow cooler fitted with the ram, but only just. The front fan sat on top of the 1st ram stick & blocked the first memory slot.

Didn't do it any harm to be honest, and didn't affect the cooling as the fan was only pushed up 5-10mm higher than it should have been & the fan clips on the Silver Arrow let you adjust the height of the fan.

The Thermalright True Spirit 140 Power or Archon should fit too, as they're both single tower heatsinks.

Just check the width of the cooler first to make sure it won't clash with a pci-e card in the first x1 slot, if you have one there.

And check what height your case allows for a cpu cooler too. Should be listed in the specs for the case.

I just remove the heatsinks, unless you are after the look, ram heatsinks do little. Mine is at 2GHz.

I suggest you use a hairdryer to heat up the thermal pads on the RAM heatsinks and just tear it off. They're not of any use and they might: 1. Look stupid like Vengeance RAM. 2. Keep you from using good air coolers.
