I am thinking of building this year (first real rig/no dgpu since 2018!). I have a graphics tablet monitor that can do C to C video and power over one cable. I would like to do that, and because GPU's don't really have USBC ports, I would need to have it plugged into my motherboard's USB C video out. There's the B850 ITX ASRock Lightning Wifi https://pg.asrock.com/mb/AMD/B850I Lightning WiFi/index.asp but I'm struggling to find others, especially a bit cheaper (my case can take matx and itx). Anyone know of a cheaper than 230 euro option that has this? (actually I'm surprised that matx seems to be practically the same price as mitx these days...)

Is there a benefit of going with B850 or if I found a B650 would it be pretty much the same? What are the differences? Memory control? Theoretical faster memory overclock?

A few of my requirements for the new board-

Don't care about gen 5 nvme's, 4 is perfect and cheaper. 2 slots at a minimum, but wouldn't say no to more.
I need wifi and bluetooth on the board.

Are there more budget boards with dp usb c out there?

The differences in memory spec I'd say are mainly just due to the newer BIOS, but I'm not a memory overclocker so...

The main spec difference is that B650 is only required to have PCI-E 4.0 graphics and PCI-E 4.0 M.2, PCI-E 5.0 anything is optional except on the E (B650E) version where graphics is required. You can also expect B850 to have a BIOS that works with Ryzen 9000 "out of the box", whereas B650/B650E might not.

Probably not, is still considered a higher-end feature and typically present on USB4 boards, especially with the power delivery aspect.

You could try looking at the spreadsheets like the one linked here, but not sure it has the info you need:
