Struggling to get to 4ghz on i7 930, help.

Sorry to bring up an old thread but just thought id say i got upto 4ghz and stable yay lol, i did buy MX-3 in the end and it knocked off 8-10c off load temps enabling me to up my cpu voltage up abit to get to 4ghz.

You had AS5 on before? i got that too....wondering if i should do the same or try my Megahalems paste which is very good aswell as i am not that impressed with AS5.(supposed to be 2-5c less after 200 hours of use but that takes an awful long time i heard )

I run mine at 1.28v, QPI at 1.32, ram voltage at 1.65v and IOH on auto.(should set this really to 1.2v or something although i passed Burntest on these settings or would it not matter/alter temps much?)

Mine hits 90C+ when running at 4.0GHz. I have to push the VCORE up a lot to get that.

Obviously, I don't run mine at 4.0. 3.8 is about 15-20C cooler.
