I love my 32 inch panel. It's 4K though, so may stretch a 2070 Super. At the moment I'm gearing up to get one of these for my girlfriend when they hit the shops - https://eu.aoc.com/en/gaming-monitors/ag273qx

Because it's a flat, HDR, Freesync, 1440p panel, and the only one I've seen in 27" that's a VA type. In brief -

There are three types of panel, TN, IPS and VA.
TN is the king of low response times but its viewing angles are crap and colours are generally not so good.
IPS is the king of wide viewing angles and probably the best colour, but it sucks at blacks and has poor contrast ratios
VA is the king of contrast and has OK viewing angles, and has colour almost as good as IPS, but the response times are not as good (though getting better).

Out of those I love VA, most people seem to go for IPS though, unless you're a high-speed e-sports FPS player, and then the tech of choice seems to be TN.

ok yes good options was looking at that lg but see there sold out every where and over clockers not sure would I see one this side of christmas will check out that other ag273 maybe than I should just build computer and wait a month for monitor as any on the market now would seem to be only second best than

The Samsung chg70 is probably the one I'd go for if I was OK with a curved screen. It comes in 32 or 27" flavours.

Unfortunately, like with a lot of stuff, there's no clear answer to "what's the best right now"

Ultrawide or 32”+

27” is certainly playable but for those types of games, the extra width and or size really does help a lot with immersion etc.

I’ve been using a 32” for a long while and a 27” now looks and feels tiny in comparison.
