Having a bit of a problem secure erasing/sanitizing a WD SN750. I've got WD SSD Dashboard installed and it recognises the drive fine. I click on Erase Drive on the side menu and get two options, Format with User Erase or Sanitize. There is no mention of Secure Erase.
It also tells me user erase & sanitize are not supported due to driver limitations. Use the USB option instead.
It tells me I have to create a bootable USB drive. I've done that but when the computer reboots it appears to freeze on the option screen and I am unable to move the cursor and select anything.
Anyone able to help me out please?
By the way my motherboards secure erase appears to work fine but I would like the option to use WD's secure erase/sanitize.
