I recently picked up an N54L Microserver which in all honesty is a cracking bit of kit for the money. The intention was to use it as a combination of HTPC/NAS.
Its been trundling along quite nicely using a Radion HD5450 in the 16x PCI-E slot, however, with wanting a decent raid 5 set I picked up a refurbished P410 which needs the x16 slot, so out comes the HD5460.
That leaves me with a single pcie x1 slot at least according to the specs? This appears to be a x1 plus x4? Can't recall seeing this this before, although I've got to admit I've not spent as much time as I used to messing with hardware.
I was looking at a club 3d HD6460 which would come in a x1 card and fit in the first two (left most) ports.... seems to be out of stock everywhere so I need to weigh up my options? I've seen the GT610 in the same low profile format but again can't find decent stockists for under £45-50. Wish I could use both the P410 and HD5450 together as it would have been perfect, but yes... should have checked properly
