Am having no end of problems with my Ryzen 9900X and MSI X670E Gaming Plus WiFi Motherboard, if I use the highest settings for the power limits in the BIOS, the computer immediately shuts down with some AIDA tests. I initially thought it was my power supply being in dual rail mode, switching to single rail saw more tests passed, but was still having issues, I have switched the power supply with a known good 1200W unit and still the same problems.
I have spent most of the day playing around with the power limits and at the moment have 199W for PTT, 137W for TDC and 199W for EDC, if I push the wattage on PTT or TDC to 200W the PC immediately turns off with the AIDA FP64 Ray-Trace benchmark. It seems there is a hard limit of 200W with this motherboard, I still have a bit of headroom with temps and am hoping there is a setting I may have missed in the BIOS. I haven't owned an AMD processor since the days of my Athlon 1gHz, so this is all new to me.
