Due to the growing anticipation about Witcher 3 Wild Hunt I thought I would give the first two games a try. So far I'm having a few issues with The Witcher Enhanced Edition and just wondered whether I'm missing something obvious?
1) Combat system: This feels a bit naff and requires holding down the mouse button a lot - to the point where after playing for a while it actually becomes uncomfortable. Is this just the way it is or am I doing it wrong?
2) Controller usage: There doesn't seem to be any native controller support and I'm wondering whether the game would play better with one and if so is there a recommended third party control mapper/settings?
3) Crashes - I've done some searches and tried some suggested fixes (such as running Windows in compatibility mode) however the game still has a tendency to crash to a black screen at the end of a fight sequence.
Or should I just skip it and give Witcher 2 a go instead?
