Hello,

I'm stuck using a P5KPL-AM EPU with my Q6600 at the mo and its stinks !!!!

Hit a brick wall at 344 FSB and need help to get past it. Tried all the limited V increases in the bios but to no avail.

Is this MB a doughnut ?? - Only using it until my main board is repaired, nice new shiny bits but OC is a nightmare.

Cheers,

Q6600 SLACR (3.1) ~42c Load/ H50 Cooling / 4GB Kingston Hyper X 1066 5-5-5-15 / Palit GTX 460 870/2020/1V ~75c Load/ Win7 Ultimate / Crysis, Crysis and Crysis / 172100P 3D Vantage

Is your DRAM:FSB on a 1:1 ratio?
If so you probably can't get past due to your memory not being able to OC that far.

If it is on a 1:1 ratio then your memory is overclocked from 533MHz (1066MT/s) upto 688MHz (1376MT/s) which is a good overclock for that memory!

It will most likely become unstable any further OC, which is why you've hit a brick wall, to OC further you'll need 1333MT/s memory.

If it's not on a 1:1 ratio, report back and i'll see what the problem is.
