Stuck At BIOS

Went to start pc today get as far as ASUS welcome screen then it freezes and doesn't load BIOS. Any ideas???

reset CMOS.. remove the battery from motherboard and put it back in.. (some motherboards have a little cliplike thingy you can move it with something it resets the settings.. that should help.. also you posted in the wrong forum, general hardware could have been more help..

You have to hold the clip like thing in there for a few seconds though to clear.

Unplug other hardware from the motherboard such as hdd and dvd drives, sound card etc then try again and again until it goes through POST. Then just plug one item at a time and try again.

Using this method you can find the faulty part.
