Stuck at Verifying DMI Pool Data for 8 mins

Hi All.

I am looking for some help and advice with a problem that I am having with my whitebox server build.

As per the topic title, I am having an issue that the system will just sit at "Verifying DMI Pool Data ............." for 8 minutes, the hard drive LED is on continuously throughout this time, then it will continue to boot just fine.

The previous and current whitebox server is running ESXi 6.0 (VMware vSphere Hypervisor 6.0).

I have been searching around the internet and it seems that some Gigabyte motherboards and ESXi do not play nicely together. But as of yet I have not been able to find a solution to the problem.

Does anyone have any ideas?
