Stuck door

Looking for some help, all our clothes are in the spare room which is now stuck.

It's jut a normal door handle but pressing the handle down does not open the door anymore. The latch seams to be stuck.
The door opens away from me as I'm in the outside.

Any ideas or is pj's for work tomorrow?

Right to update, tried the credit card trick but no luck. The hinges are on the inside so no access. Just took the handle off leaving the square rod poking out, pair of pliers on it, it turns and makes the propper noises but door is still stuck.

Had to take spindle out, 2 things had happened the latch had failed. and Im guessing its called the keep had become loose some how so was also stopping the latch from releasing.
All in now
