Stuck in no man’s land gpu upgrade

Currently rocking a 7900xtx and mainly playing rts games and the odd bit of cities skylines at 4k

I keep longingly looking at a 5090 but the pricing seems utterly loopy even with the recent drop in FE pricing

9070 is a “side grade” imho

Which leaves me in a very privileged but itchy spot.

Do we have any sign of a 9070xtx on the horizon? Or do I just complain bitterly hold my nose and hand over the cash to Nvidia?

Honestly mate I’d leave it - only the 4090 and 5090 offer any meaningful upgrade over the XTX and even then the price you’ll be paying I personally wouldn’t justify. Personally I’d hold out in till UDNA - the XTX is is up there with the higher end cards of today

Doesn't look like it.

Nvidia have probably killed off their Supers after the recent RAM frenzy, which leaves even less motivation for AMD to bother.

Rumours suggested it would have offered little beyond more memory anyway, 'cos there's nothing left unlockable in the 9070 XT's die.

In the same boat as yourself, got an itch to scratch but had to slap myself, would have liked a 4090 but there 1800+ and i cant justify that for a used card that if im honest i dont know if id tell much difference, few more pretties in BF6, already getting 200fps as is so it can wait.
