Hi all, I wonder if any one can help me.

I've just switched to an iPhone 12 from a Galaxy S10+. All seemed to go smoothly right up until the point I realised I wasn't receiving text messages from certain people.

As it turns out, I think this is down to RCS from the S10+. I put my sim card back into the s10 and what do you know.... messages all started coming through.

I tried to remove RCS using the web tool https://messages.google.com/disable-chat but it fails and says to contact my network operator. That would be Vodafone but they don't have a clue.

I managed to unselect RCS messaging on my s10 and did a factory reset but messages still aren't getting through.

Does anyone know what I can do? I did read it can take 8 days to clear, but im not sure how true that is.

I don’t even know what RCS is. This might be better asked in the mobile phone forum because I don’t know if it’s anything to do with the iPhone.

Imagine an Android version of iMessage.
Like when you switch from iPhone to Android some of your messages get stuck in iMessage so won't send as SMS
