Stuck on CPUINIT Striker II Formula

My backup PC has suddenly stopped booting and the little display says CPUINIT and goes no further, can anyone help?
CPU is a Q6600 and PSU is a Zalman 450W Silent Pipe Ram is Corsair XMS2 DDR2-800 GFX is a 7200GS, tested all the components in another board and theyre all fine

If i remember rightly, its the motherboard, and look on the Asus forums as there is loads of people with the same problems, there is no conclusive fix for it but trying a number of things could solve the problem.
Personally i would just RMA.
