Stuck on Crysis - bug?

Okay - am at the bit in Crysis where you have rescued the first scientist in the first large emcampment.

You get the scientist and your mate then says go and destroy the enemy tanks. Well I have - there were two. I have also killed every enemy in the camp, and now.... nothing. What happens now. I have not been given another mission objective or anything and my mate has sodded off with the scientist.

Have I missed something or is this a bug?

Cheers for the responses guys. Yea - took to exploring MMO style and found the way up the waterfalls to follow the river. Was not obvious though and I did not trigger the mission so it was a bit hard to know which direction I should go.

Got there in the end.
