hi im cant for the life of me find the the way to mountains to the mining complex to free the hostages? cant remember the level i think its 5 or 6 not sure?.its the level when you have to secure the landing zone and the enemy have those mini guns. you then have to free the hostages from the mountains but i cant see to find the way and its bugging me hope someone knows what im on about please
 
Well once you clear that area and they land, you just head down the quarry and follow it. You cant miss it really. You just head south. You can see it on the map.

i have killed everyone in the quarry and im sure ive cleared the landing zone but when i head down to the quarry and cant find the mining complex in the mountains all i see is like trenches with minefields and the in the trenches and big massive grey door thing i thought you had to cliimb to get to the hostages in the mountains?
 
Theres a few parts during the game where stuff like that happens. Going back a save or two usually sorts it but it can be annoying sometimes. :)

I think ive found the fault ive killed evryone but the landing zone dosent seem to be secured that why the doors want open im assuming will go back a save or 2 like you said
 
Sorry to but in, but im stuck around here, ive just got into the mine but now lost, just inside theres some big huge doors on the left (where the green arrow takes you) so im assuming i have to get through there, but for some reason i cant.

If you get into the mine and go straight ahead, you have a mining track which you can follow along to the left, and this takes you to a boarded up bit you can blast through, but all thats in there is a lift stuck at the bottom so you can't do anything, and its also away from the huge doors where the green arrow is saying you have to go, but as i said they won't open so looks like its ****** and i can't get any further, unless that isnt the way you go and i do need to go where that lift is, but the lift is straight ahead on the way in once you blast through that boarded up bit. :confused:

Sorted it, i need to get down where the lift is.

You get pointed in the right direction most of the time in there... just don't go the way you came from and you'll be fine
 
I'm dying repeatedly on the bit near the end where you have to fly the plane... I keep being sucked down by the tornado things and crashing :(
 
I hated the floating bit.....Realy spoiled the game for me :( And you have no way enough ammo to dispatch those dam floating things ....

Im stuck on the snow bit after that where yer mate has a failing suit and you have to get him to warm places ... Cant deal with the monsters quick enough and dont know where to take him and he normally dies before i even get out the camp :(

And me. In the bit at the end of Core I just cloaked up and hid in a corner until the door opened and freed me! Didnt bother trying to kill them. Largely because I only had 2 bullets left for my pistol..

You suck at games. Wait by the fires for his suit to go back to full health.
