Stuck on crysis (plane)

How do you fly the plane through the canyon (2nd part):confused:
It keeps dropping to the ground and going backwards !
Have tried rapidly tapping after burner along with every other thing !
Started as a great game but now is getting dull ,its like 2 different games :(
Far cry is much better ! Roll on far cry 2 :D
 
what a nightmare trying to control that plane ,but have done it :D
I prefer to be on the ground hiding in undergrowth ,think its a bit silly in games when they have certain parts that are near impossible to complete when the rest is too easy ,should be more consistent then you can decide what difficulty level to play on yourself .
 
Enjoyed that bit - it was a break from the slaying! I found if you follow the other planes infront of you then it's easier the idea is to avoid the whirlwinds there.

It does work - well if you watch the number on the left of your HUD it does work - it only helps though if you get caught on the edge of the tornados and not in the middle if you're in the middle you're a goner.

you are dropping to the ground and going backwards cos you are caught in a tornado, i wondered what the hell was wrong fr ages till i noticed the 2 twisters ripping everything apart, stay close to the mountain and away from the sphere or you will freeze.
 
I ran straight into the sphere - never even saw it and froze and wondered what the heck was going on. Very easy to complete though when you get used to it - once your comrades have flown on you dont need to kill anything else just fly on...
