stuck on crysis

cannot find the rocket launcher on crysis. i am not that far it, at the bit where you save the girl and 2 tanks come and start shooting the place up.

should be on the ground floor in a room near the stairs.

Bit of a bump but I thought I'd try the game again on hard mode. Problem is the tanks seem to be tougher and take about 6 rockets each and there are only 9 on the table. I keep running out of rockets

I've tried screwing around driving jeeps up to the tank, exploding them and then punching the tank in frustration but the last one never goes down no matter what. Any ideas?

Try shooting the tanks from behind..there is usually weakest armour there.

Try the turret too.

Do you mean extreme mode? I'm on hard the second time, and the tanks only take three rockets (generally at the side or rear) to take out.

Like he says, there should be more in other buildings. I have a feeling theres some in the petrol station (on the right hand side of the village if you look at it from the direction you came from) but i'm not entirely sure.

There are some rocket launchers on the hill before you infiltrate the complex, good for blowing up the gas station

I noticed that with the 1.2 patch, they take a lot more damage to kill.

Before it was 2 rockets to the upper section on Normal, now it seems to be 4.

Played it before on Delta even and can't remember ever needing more than one launcher for a single tank.
