Stuck on Dead Space

Hey,

I'm only at the beginning of Dead Space - where you have to use the Stasis Module on the broken arm of the giant machine. How do I use the Stasis Module on the broken arm? I've tried going into the inventory, selecting the module - from which I get USE or DROP. So I choose USE. Hit E on the arm, it pushes out, I fire at the arm and I just use normal rounds not the Stasis.

What am I doing wrong? Please help this is driving me up the wall!!

On the characters back is the statis charge level if you look. You aim and fire statis like normal rounds just a different button, so aim + blue x on my controller.

So is mine, though I use the controller to move and the mouse to aim. Either way it'll be mapped on a key somewhere.

Wow that sounds wierd!


And yeah just aim like normal but instead of pressing left click to shoot press c to slow it down.

I found the mouse can move much quicker than the joystick on the controller when aiming, sounds funny but it works really well. I'd use the keyboard but can't get on with WSAD

yeah AIM at the arm, press C, then run up to the control panel and then wait til it connects and press the control panel
