Stuck on upgrade from iPhone XS Max

Hi,

I currently have an iPhone XS Max and it has started to notably lag and dlow down recently.

I have decided to upgrade the phone but I don't know what to upgrade to. I do like the Apple iPhone and I run a Pixel 8 with work so am familiar with both of the OS.

I have no interest in photography so am not bothered about the camera on the phone. I would use the phone for facetime, internet, email, games and streaming video.

What do you think might be the best upgrade for me ?

My thoughts will be it depends on available budget and what is your primary use for the new phone. You mention facetime and as you currently have an iPhone, I would think it might be worth looking at deals for iPhone 14 or 15s?

Might get some better prices if you were able to wait for the 16 launch in a few weeks and you might be able to get a better price.
