Stuck Plz Help????

Ok really struggling here currently stuck at 2.7Ghz which i am happy with but would like to go further. Sorry if this is in wrong section i know there is a Asus P5K thread in mobo section.

Comp is as sig. Any suggestions appreciated. Is it my memory holding me back or other things. How would i get timings of 1:1 as well only ever seem to get 3:2/4:5 etc. Suggestions on voltages as well or other things to change would be great. Tried lots of different settings with 8 x multi and 9 x multi etc but no luck. Also on latest bios i think 0902 if that makes any difference. Thanks for any help guys.

Your memory should be fine for a wee bit yet.

But keep the DRAM Frequency at its lowest setting (I think it may already be there), set the CPU Ratio Setting to 9 and set your FSB to 335mhz. That should bring a new set of RAM dividers into play and should allow you to run at 1:1.

Ok tried tha and still no luck changed multi to x 9 and FSB to 335mhz and no luck just restarts saying failed o/c or i get a BSOD. Sometimes the comp starts but i have no display??? Any other suggestions plz guys.

Does the DRAM Freq stay on the lowest setting after switching to x9 and 335mhz?

Try a little more vcore too (1.45v should be fine).

Also try with just 2gb of memory.

Nope changes it to DDR2-840Mhz but i can change it back to 667Mhz. Will try with 2 gig of ram and will up the vcore a little more. Thanks for the help so far.
