Father in law want to move over to the mac world from the dark pc side. He does photography for a living so he need transfer most software over most importantly is adobe cs4 photoshop extended. He contacted adobe yesterday who told him they can't transfer him over to mac. I though this can be done?

Nope, you either have a license for a Mac or Windows version. It's a good way for Adobe to make money!

Seems like you can't if it was bought as the retail version, but you may be able to get them to transfer it for a fee.
