Stuck white pixel repair costs

Hi all

I have a 55 inch C7 LG OLED with a stuck bright white pixel in the middle of the screen. I am out of warranty and LG told me to run the pixel refresh 5 times on the run. Which I did. No change.

they say repair may be possible but not until the lockdown ends (fair enough).

my question is anyone know how much the repairs will be. LG won’t say. They just say costs would be determined list engineer inspection.

Itll be a new panel so I expect it'll be expensive.

Do you not get 5 year warranty with the retailer you used?

actually contacted LG and they said 1 year. But based on your post I went looking for the receipt from 2017, found it and it said 5 years! Rang PC World / Curries, waited 45 mins to get through, but repair arranged FOC, they pick it up on Monday. Will be gone for 3 weeks but can cope. Thanks for the prod.
