See if you can help me with this conundrum! I have;
Corsair 1GB DDR XMS3200C2PT TwinX (2x512MB) CAS2 (MY-030-CS)
A matched pair of 512MB XMS3200C2 memory modules - 1GB total - ideal for dual DDR motherboards.
Corsair 512MB DDR XMS3200C2PT Platinum CAS2 (MY-007-CS)
This memory is designed to run at 200MHz memory speed (400MHz DDR). Offering outstanding performance and reliability for todays memory hungry applications.
So 1.5GB. At the time I didnt know that by adding an extra 512MB I could actually be slowing performance down!! So, economically, whats the best way to remedy this? Id prefer 2GB but dont understand how to get the best bang for my money with what I already have??
