Stuck without a suit in STALKER :\

Im just about to hit Pripyrat (spelling:\) and my SEVA suit is completely dead.

Obviusly im knackered as i have NO bullet protection, let alone radioactivity

Whens the next trader?

Is it worth me going back to Bar/x16 and getting a new suit, or holding on until the next trader.

I also have NO moniez (About 4000) so would need to go artifact hunting with no suit to get some cash

Realling parsing me off!!!

Any help would be great,

How slowly have you done it?

I rushed it first time round and it made it very hard towards the end (no decent artifacts to counter radiation etc)

If you've gone quick and not done the bar side missions/arena contest/duty faction missions, I'd go back and earn yourself some massive cash to buy a new one

VERY quickly, have only done 2/3 fights in arena, havnt even bothered to join any faction :\

How do i go about joining Duty?

Better not to join any factions unless you've done most of the duty/freedom side missions and have a good weapons selection to take either side on.

As for the armour, read the guide below:

Please tell me you got the suit off Ghost when you did the X16 mission? The professor at Yantar has a side mission for that suit and in return he gives you the SSP-99M Suit, arguably the best overall armour in the game.

EDIT: Make sure to get the VintarBC sniper rifle in the freedom base! Seriously, the accuracy of this rifle makes the game a whole lot easier.

Nah i just bought the SEVA suit as i was loaded at that time.

Will read that after this bout of CSS
