Student discount - Macbook

Hey

Just tried speaking to someone from apple and they wernt to helpful really, just asked repeatdly for my email address.

Anyways, im at 6th form college and just wondered if any of you guys had bought a macbook with discount and how much off is it? The guy said it varied on location?

Talked to an online advisor (text) on the apple website about an hour ago.. sister goes to Uni and the person gave me a link which showed the high education discounts. The cheapest macbook was £500 with discount.. not bad - £100 off

You need to be at university to get the HE discount, but not to get the standard education discount. You can access that on the site easily to see the better prices

No apparently you don't.

If you can prove you are going to university next year then they still accept it IIRC.

Quick offtopicish question: can you get the iPod nano rebate with the HE discount? the website only seems to show it with the normal education discount.
