Student finance confusion

Hi.

Trying to apply for finance at SFD but its confusing, it says do I have any inome, earned or unearned? Well I dont have a job, all I have is EMA, thats not classed as income surely?

That would be classed as unearned income I think, however I presume that your EMA wouldn't carry on to university? In that case I wouldn't put it down.

iirc from when I first filled mine in a few yrs ago in the little help booklet thing you get it tells you what EMA falls under

Unearned income is things like my grandmother gives me £200 a month - and will continue to do so when I'm at university etc...

I hate those forms!
I thought unearned would be benefits and things that you might claim. Dont think your EMA would count
