When does the next part of our loan come through?

It should come through on the dates that your university specifies as its term start dates, or maybe a bit earlier if your lucky.

If you haven't had it a few days after that ring up the SLC and hassle them.

It usually suggests in the huge pile of paper that is the loan application when you should get it done by. In my experience you can apply after the deadline but you don't get any help before the start of term.

Mine's the 24th April too. You could always visit their homepage www.studentfinancedirect.co.uk which is where you can key in your ArtID and passwords to check up on when your next payments are due.
