looking at this he talks about "tile board"

do we have such a thing in the UK, and what is it called?

or what else can i use to make a reflective floor for a studio ?

They don't have it in uk from what I'v seen. You can get some stuff made for showers that does the same thing but it's all much more expensive than this home depot tileboard.
However, it was a long time since I looked so perhaps someone know where you can get some...

While I remember (this may or may not help you), I was planning at some point to make my own with some thin plywood or similar, and then buy a roll of whiteboard surface, and stick it on top. That way once the surface begins to get scratched etc, you can just stick another layer over the top, this should perform well and keep costs down.

Just need a damn studio...

Alternatives would be a high gloss vinyl or a sheet of clear acrylic that you lay on top of a white sheet.
