Studs stuck to the mobo with screw

Hi there guys,

Got a mobo here that I have pulled out of a system but when coming off the screws didn't come out. Instead the whole thing (screw + stud) came out. I have tried to take them out with screwdrivers and diverse tools and it's just impossible. They are stuck. Any recommendations?

I've had this before, I found it easier to use a screw driver then grip the stud with a pair of pliers and twist them.

Short if sawing the screw in two i dont know what to suggest.

Push the motherboard onto the mobo tray and then turn the screw to loosen

Works every time for me...

Personally I use the special riser gripping tool that came free with my Lian Li case. :cool:

Probably not much help to you though, so sorry for being a show off...

Since they are mostly hex risers, just use a spanner.
