Stumped - Interwebnet issue

So for a while now I've been having a very specific issue with my PC, the symptoms:

Can't use Windows Update (error code pops up, will post error code in the morning)

Can't search for new emails in Windows Live Mail

Can't upload any photos to photobucket

iTunes match can't connect

Browsing works but is slow, downloads are fine, working and fast

Only happens on my PC, none of the other computers in the house do it. The only workaround I've found is to plug my phone in and use my iPhones 3G connection to do all of the above. So help me interweb people's!
 
Sounds like a firewall/antivirus issue.

Give us an idea of specs of internet, software running on your pc, wired/wireless/etc.

Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
Usual program's like VLC and iTunes
Internet is supposed to be 13Mb but when downloadng it averages between 200kbs and 1MB

No aftermarket antivirus or firewall, I let windows security essential and the standard firewall manage everything

Could it be the router settings?

Just done a clean install of Windows and I'm still getting windows update error 80072ee2

Not sure if I can upload stuff yet but still no solution found
 
According to a few people they uninstalled the LAN Driver and then restarted Windows. It then reinstalled the driver and Windows update worked :confused:
 
Tried that still getting Windows Error 80072EE2

Tried uninstalling, rebooting and reinstalling

Tried regedit fixes

Tried downloading those Windows Fixit files, they worked temporarily

Tried proxy and no proxy

No fix
