Guys i have written a perl script to listen in on Com4 capture a certain line of code $temp then print this value
Now in linux it works fine but when i try in windows i cannot get this to work!
I have used cpan and added error checking i get the error "permision denied on Com4"
If i use termpro or hyperterminal i get readings instantly so the port is not in use and free to go... Im running Vista 64 & perl activestate...
Any ideas how to allow Perl to access Com4 or Com1 i have tried 1-6
Im stumped!
