Has anybody here got a GPU with the HDMI port right on the side of the backplate? My case gets in the way so their is no possible way of connecting it!

Yup, my HIS 4890 had this problem too, very annoying as I would have used the HDMI to carry sound to my monitor! I guess you could remove the plastic off the HDMI cable if you're determined. Or get a DVI - HDMI cable so you don't have to mess around with wobbly connectors ;)
