Lovely Wolver-ampton!
tried to deliver a parcel on the 9th (allegedly) i was in all day and didnt hear the bell or door knock. had a letter on tuesday saying they'd been so i scheduled a redelivery for today. nothing all day so i rang them up. woman checks computer. oh yeah - driver called at 9.30am

did he? how exactly did he call then? semaphore? smoke signals? he certainly didnt ring my doorbell or knock my door. i've been in all day again.

so, now another re-delivery. only to be told by the woman that "we will only do this one more time" im like.... well, to be fair, you've not actually done it once yet.

ffs.... i live in a block of flats, so unless the muppet driver gets out of his van and rings the bell, how the funk does he know if im in or not. honestly, the stupidity of this fella amazes me.

fingers crossed for friday eh?

i wonder if they arrive somewhere, realise it's cold and wet outside and think "ah sod it im staying in the van"

it's not like he has to walk far, just ring my buzzer, i'll let him in, and the lift will bring him up to my front door! how simple can it be?

trying to find the email address of the MD to write him a snotty letter.

They are not to be trusted at all.
The same happened with us, they claimed they'd called round twice when they hadn't (unless I am deaf as well!) and when I rang up for the hundredth time they read out the adress they had for me and it was just a big line of numbers (surely they would have realised that!!) then the next time I phoned after another failed delivery they said they had been told I had changed my address (2days after I had just given them the right address!) they are awful.

dhl claimed to try to deliver a parcel to me once i have cctv and we didnt even see a van or driver arrive and they claimed to try to deliver it they did this twice and i got on the phone to the office and even told them i had cctv and was told there driver did this and that so in the end i sent in the cctv tape and got a letter of appolige and was told the driver had been sacked ok it may be through me he got sacked but he was not doing his job and i hate been lied too

will see what happens on friday. its not even a big parcel, it's a bloomin bread knife my bro bought me for my birthday! ive been eating chunks of bread 'cos i cant cut any! grr

Ah the joys of DHL... they take 4 week to delivery soemthing then out of the blue 4 months later I get charges of £35 for VAT. A parcel that came from europe... far as I know you don't pay VAT for parcels from europe

Theyve called round mine apparently twice as well, lazy gits. They charge dont they after the second call or something
