It crashed (unsurpisingly)
Now it stutters every 5 secs or so, feels like its losing a frame
Loaded BF2, it does the same

Loaded 3dmark06, my score has dropped from 5400 to 3800....WTF!?!?!

thanks WoW for breaking my graphics, now I'm going to have to format and re-install AGAIN

AHHHHH

(soz, rant coz im ****d off and I cant log onto the wow forums AHHHH!)

Put it in the freezer for an hour :p

bout to format my pc now to hopefully fix it, but if its still broken afterwards I will be VERY upset @ wow and maybe kill something....or buy a new pc, lol

w00t 1000 posts...go me etc

The only way software can kill a card is that the card is weak anyway.

WoW might have corrupted a driver file or something which is causing you the problems...

Reinstall the driver.

SLI will randomly break ( Driver Issue ) and only you will only be working on one card but I think this is more a corrupt file.

Why not just uninstall drivers, run driver cleaner and then reinstall them instead of completely reformatting? Unless you're tried that already....

Ok, here's one solution:

1. Open My Computer
2. Navigate to "%WinDir%\system32\dllcache\" (without the quotes)
3. Locate d3d9.dll and copy it
4. Navigate to "%WinDir%\system32\" and paste the d3d9.dll file. When asked to overwrite, press yes.

I had the stupid error 132 for the past few weeks with WoW, and this trick (which was my own idea and was the last ditch attempt really) seemed to have sorted it.

thanks for that i'll bear it in mind for the future

Just formatted though and all seems fine now :D
got my best 3dmark06 score ever as well: 5543
05 still seems a little low 10433 but it always has done with SLI

C2D soon *** :D
