i officially will never be buying a monitor from this company, i currently have a hw173a and i have now lost count how many times iv lost my rag and punched **** out of it, their stupid ****ty screen auto adjusts like a motha****a
i cant wait to get a new lcd so i smash **** out of this one and send it to them in bits with a letter telling them how **** it is, who makes a ****in monitor you cant turn the auto adjust off????
heres a ****in clue hanns-g you are idiots! i set it to 1440x900 @ 59hz and it seems to go ok, goes perfect then the dreaded ****ty auto adjust kicks in and ****s me over, why oh why would someone make a piece of **** like this?
ok rant over, time to go put hand in ice again, surprisingly the only good thing about this is tha the lcd is still intact even after being punched a lot!

I could make many jokes about the OP's location (and his cheap ugly monitor) but that would be out of character. I hope you feel better after venting your frustration but that monitor needs more than just a 'hands on' facelift by the sounds of it.

To try and offer something useful - if you can use a DVI connection then auto-adjust is irrelevant (it is only for VGA connections) and should disable its self automatically (or at least it does on my Samsung T220).

there is no dvi connection, its a crappy vga connection, if i had the money right now id destroy this piece of crap and get somethin better

iv calmed down a bit now, decided to get rid of my laptop and buy the 2 screens iv been planning to buy which are 1080i/p
