Stupid power supply

Still getting blue screen when i try to play cod4.

Also the thing that told me how hot the motherboard was was'nt reading right as i checked the temp in the bios that showed 40 somthing.

So temps are ok.

Also ive been told it could be ram but i have 8 gig. They told me to remove the ram from slot 2 and 4 and try it. And if that didnt work put 2 and 4 back and remove 1 and 3 and try it.
But it still gave me blue screen.

Im phoning a few pc repair people tomoz to see if thay can come and have a look at it.

Blue screens can also be caused by a driver problem.

Try uninstalling all drivers and installing the latest updated ones.

If you suspect faulty RAM then run memtest86, search google for it.

Couple of things:

1). If you are having all those heat issues then what case are you using and does it have a decent amount of airflow? It's all well and good replacing the CPU fan with a fancy third party one but if its just moving around hot air in the case then your cooling will still not be good.

2). You seem to be running quite a bit of memory, I've seen other threads on here where people have been doing that and had stability issues due to the multiple sticks giving a voltage drop meaning that the ram wasn't getting the voltage required to run stably. Might be something else to look into.

Long time since ive been on but when i got it back he said something was wrong with the graphics card and had to disable 3 out of 6 things and said thats it work then a day later is broke again.

Are you sure all the fans are pointing the right way? No good if your CPU heatsink fan is blowing the hot air towards the middle of the case, and it's also no good if the case fans aren't working together.

By the sounds of all these temperature issues there's something wrong with airflow in general.
