Stupid question about my retail E6600 (maybe!)

Now I've attached it (and don't really want to take it apart again!) can someone confirm that the stock Intel cooler has thermal pads on it?

I didn't get any arctic silver (I will if I get a better cooler) but just want to be sure that I'm not gonna burnout!

yes the stock cooler should have a nice white pad pre-layed and everything
