Stupid question about self tapping screws on case fans

I feel daft asking this but I can't find information on it online.

Basically I've got good fans, but do like swapping my PC case every once in a while. Does reinstalling PC fans in new cases with the same self tapping screws make them weaker? Like if I move them into a third case with they become weak or is it a case of the groves are only made the first time, so nothing to worry about on re-instalation else where?

Same - never had an issue, even removing and reinstalling several times.

Worst case if the screws wouldn't tighten up, then you could get some of the rubber anti-vibration mounts that just pull through the fan holes (see below), or alternatively you could get some machine screws and nuts

Ok time to turn the screws. Is each fan screw slightly unique to its hole? Or will any screw within the same fan be fine and not cut new grooves?
Any screw will be fine, you are over thinking it.

I've got a box of old fans that every now and then I end up using for something - I definitely haven't still got the original screws that went with them, and never had an issue

Thank you. Yeah I just like having everything perfect, but definitely got the answers I needed :).
