Sorry for the stupid question - but which way does the air flow in a Zalman CNPS9700-LED CPU Cooler?

I have tried putting my hand next to it on either side - and even tried the licked finger test but for the life of me can't figure it out?

My cooler is set up as follows:

Green LED Fan - Copper Fins - Blank Side

Does the air go from left to right - or right to left?:o

Ah thanks lads!

I was just thinking about air flow within my case. It's annoying that it's blowing warm air into the case as opposed to the nearest side (with an exit) which is the rear of the case. I had hoped to create a current pushing air outwards towards the back but will have to see...

Can you not just install it around 180deg? I had to do that after installing my Arctic cooling 64 pro, for the same reason.

I was thinking the same - I will have a look. I'll take it off the CPU anyway as I wanted to put on some lovely new Microsi thermal paste and get rid of some very old Zalman (not the nail varnish styled) compound.

It should blow onto your rear case fan. The CPU cooler fan being at the rear (right hand side) blowing past fins, onto rear case fan. The instruction leaflet that comes with the fan shows you this.
