Stupid Question - Intel / AMD

Hi

A stupid question I'm sure, however I've been out of touch with computer hardware for years now and I just need this answering.

That memory, it says Intel P67 chipset. Is recommended or required? Would it work with an AMD AM3 chipset board?

It'll be fine assuming the motherboard uses DDR3.

I don't think there are any DDR2 AM3 boards but I could be wrong.
