Stupid Question,

As the title says I have a stupid question I also did not know where to put this thread so sorry if it's in the wrong place but how do I upload pictures??

Create an account with photobucket, upload the picture.

You then get some links to the image, one looks like this,

[IMG*]sometexthere[/IMG*] but without the * in the brackets.

Just copy and paste into the forum post everything including the brackets.

You'll need to use an uploader website like Imageshack or Uploadit.

You need to upload them to a file sharing site like Photbucket, Imageshack etc. then you copy and paste the HTML address and put it in

Image tags.

probably would have been best in general discussion, but here is good enough.

first you need to upload your image to a picture hosting website like www.photobucket.com or www.imgur.com then you copy the part where it says forum code into the forum.

I use imgur myself as photobucket and imageshack are all adverts everywhere and I dislike the interfaces. But have a look through what imagehosts offer and pick the one that's right for you.

Just a bit of friendly feedback, you can use [noparse][noparse][/noparse][/noparse] tags so that you can explain without using asterisks or anything like that

So it looks like this: [noparse]

[/noparse]

When I try to preview with a pictue it does not display the picture it just have a red cross?? any idea's?

Sounds like it'll be the incorrect link to the image. Right click the image and open in a new tab, then use the link from the new image tab.

You're most likely linking to an HTML page containing your image rather than the image itself. Right click the image on the page - most modern browsers have a "Copy Image Location" option, or similar.

Yep that got it working
