Stupid US dictionary in Word

Is there any way to remove the US Dictionary? Sometimes, out of the blue, my word document (Office XP, SP3) will start using the US dictionary to spell check.

This mostly happens when I'm pasting text from the internet, usually appearing as a table. This seems to change the dictionary to US, regardless if it's pasted from a US site or an English site.

It's getting right on my nerves!

Some where within start-all programs-microsoft office theres a setting I think you can set there for UK only?

in word go to tools - language - set language, and choose british.

doesnt always work permanantly.

you need to remove US dictionaries in regional settings in CP.

the two together should work
