I still can't really see the use though... Do you put in on your site, then, when someone submits a stupid comment, it corrects it?

No lol, it works as a plugin for firefox etc. Just removes all idiotic comments like an advert remover would

Eventually, once the research is completed, we plan to release core engine source code for incorporation into content management systems, blogs, wikis and the like. Additionally, we plan to develop a fully implemented Firefox plugin and a Wordpress plugin.

Eventually this could be implemented at network by way of a transparent proxy. It would require some serious CPU time but could eventually rid entire companies of stupidity.
