As the title says but some games work fine. now the games that are really bad are cod ghosts, bf4, bioshock infinite. these 3 games are so bad there unplayable. Ive tried single card and its the same. Ive tried lowest settings highest settings with no change. Overclocking, new installs on ssd and hdd. different drivers, core unparking, Ive tried everything really. my specs are.....

fx 6300 @ 4.7ghz
gtx 560 (nonti) sli
gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3
corsair cx750 psu
corsair vengeance 8gb
120gb ssd
Creative Sound Blaster Z

any help will be much appreciated.

thanks for the help guys, the temps are 70 max for the cards and the cpu never goes over 40, the mobo is about the same 40 ish. ill try the sound card shortly and let you know what happends.

ok so just disabled soundcard and went on bf4 and bioshock infinite. both games are the same still lagging and stuttering (awfull). hi oldphart, yes ive also tried that and still use it , its a good program. im using widows 7 64bit and ive tried win8.1 but was the same. i thought it was because the vram is low 1gb but im getting the stuttering on low settings.

now im thinking sell the gtx 560s and go amd, i had this in past with gtx 260 and games like fall out new vegas. proberly not nvidia but im getting a bit sick of it now. what would match 560 sli? used on ebay are 7970 for a decent price, would one of these match them?

i didnt play these games on older card. games like crysis 3, last light, black flag, all work fine. just these 3 games , the fps are 60 + then drop in the 20s for like half a second every 5 ish seconds. its all at 1080p and temps are fine. just thought the 7970 with the higher vram would do the trick.

ok so theres a lot of replys thanks. cpus vcore is 1.440 if that helps, the gtx 560 vram is 1gb. i had this issue with a single gtx 560 thats why i went sli but its the same. ive ran it all on stock clocks with 1 card and still lagging . theres no other pci cards no wifi. im only on campaign mode in games, so not internet lag. if i up the vcore to 1.5v would it be ok? it was stable in prime 95 at 1.440v.

ok bf4 ultra settings vram is at 959mb and cpu is 70%. on low settings vram 847mb cpu 80%. ram is around 4gb.

hi, ive tried everything stock and with 1 560, thats why i went sli to try and solve the problem. ive used passed nvidia drivers inc betas. im currently using 340.52 drivers.

haha yes its enabled. ddu and ab running?. when i install the drivers i dont install gf experience or 3d vision. just driver and physx

yes i have precisionx. ok so ive upped cpu voltage just to see if it helped, went as far as 1.6v and bioshock worked better smoother at around 20% cpu usage. bf4 was the same as before though still jittering. but cpu dropped to around 50% usage. vram on both games was 1015mb so im guesing its maxed that. could that be the problem?

so next question is, another card but im broke at moment so its a used card so recommendations please.

ive ran bf4 on lowest settings and its still stuttered, not as much though. i can pick up a 7950 for around £100. then later grab another.

Ok so the 560's are now sold and a Sapphire HD 7950 Flex Edition is on its way. So hopefully its problem solved.

well the 7950 is in and im really happy with it, bf4 is silky smooth on ultra. so glad i ditched the 560s now. now if i go crossfire in future will the psu im using be ok? its a corsair cx750m.
