Hi all, my first post so please be gentle
Ive just upgraded to max adsl with BT and got the free 220v , so i set up the router , then noticed stuttering in BF2 it felt like a skip in frames every few minutes, so i tried loads of things like disabling firewalls, opening ports for punkbuster, swapped from USB to ethernet infact every thing i could think of
I thought it maybe caused by BT testing the line as ive noticed my ping has gone up on BF2 servers by around 50%
Then as a test i resinstalled my Speedtouch USB modem and tried it with that , the ping was still higher BUT the stuttering had gone , so tried the router again , stuttering came back , so ive moved back to the speedtouch
The thing is i'd like to use the router if possible for the free calls with BT talk , does any one know why the router is causing stuttering but the older speedtouch modem seems fine ?
