Hi All

I'm not sure what to do about gaming meaning another card etc

The problems are.
1 since going from a hazro 1440p to a ultrawide 1440 most games seem to run not so well.

2 GTA - Witcher 3 - PS2 all run worst and with lower fps always.

I have a r9 290 msi.

Do I need another card? I thought a 290 would be fine but looks like I'm wrong?

Vram shows up at around 5gb with only a 4 card unless I'm reading the wrong info via afterburner.

All drivers are new plus ping is fine.

Should I be waiting for the new amd card or cf? Also would a lot be missing in future games from directx 12 compared to 11.

Thanks in advance

Sounds like you are reading the system ram rather than the vram amount. Those games defiantly don't use that amount of vram at 1440p.

I just put my cpu back to stock clock and still the same result.

My ram is at roughly 6300 with 8gb in my system is that not good?
